PhD Scholarship in labour market effects of trade
A PhD scholarship is available in international trade, with a focus on the labour market effects of trade shocks. In particular, the project aims to investigate the degree to which female labour market outcomes are differentially affected by exposure to global competition. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest or background in international trade and / or labour economics. A willingness to engage in empirical research is essential. The project will provide the opportunity to investigate gendered labour market effects in both developing and developed countries. The successful candidate will conduct a research assistantship under the supervision of Prof. Marvin Suesse. Please email Prof. Marvin Suesse at email@example.com for further details.
