ECB Forum on Central Banking: price and wage-setting in advanced economies
Are you interested in finding out more about central banking and economics? The 2018 ECB Forum on Central Banking will explore price and wage-setting in advanced economies and will provide an excellent opportunity to learn more about these topics from prominent academics and policymakers. This year’s Forum will take place in Sintra, Portugal on 18-20 June and will be webcast live on the ECB’s website and YouTube channel. The webcast will start at 21:00 CET on Monday, 18 June with President Draghi’s opening remarks and a speech by Lawrence H. Summers. The videos of each session will also be available on our YouTube channel after the Forum. Visit the programme to find out more about the topics for each session.
Young economists’ poster competition:
As part of the Forum, the ECB also organises a young economists’ poster session each year. Eleven PhD students from around the world will present their research to academics and policymakers in the form of posters. What would you like to ask the young economists?
For the first time, Simon Clark, a YouTuber and PhD graduate, will interview some of the students about their research. Ask your question in the comments section of his YouTube vlog.
