Stryker’s Springhill manufacturing site in Carrigtwohill is currently undergoing a huge expansion! We are hiring a Project Manager to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of the Springhill site. What You will Do:

You will have responsibility for the overall project plan to re layout the Springhill manufacturing facility with the opening of the new expansion.

You will manage the teams - to plan all equipment relocation to the new clean room using flow and LEAN methodologies to ensure that we are setting the factory up for the future.

The team will then plan and relocate all production equipment to maximise the space in Springhill and create flow of product.

This will require relocation and planned movement of up to 100 machines with minimal interruption to the customer.

You will co-ordinate with the businesses to manage resources for each deliverable within the project and communicate status with stakeholders and participating functional areas; addresses and resolves problems.

What You Need:

  • Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline or with 4 or more years’ experience in a technical and/or project management role.
  • The individual should enjoy working in a dynamic & results oriented team environment where flexibility is essential.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills - able to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Be open minded with the ability to recognise good ideas.
  • Demonstrated Leadership, Project Management and Engineering experience in New Product Introduction in a regulated environment would prove beneficial.
  • Excellent analytical skills, ability to plan, organise and implement concurrent tasks.
  • Will have demonstrated an ability to define project risk and to effectively manage project risks.
  • Experience in an FDA regulated or regulated industry beneficial.
  • High level of PC Skills required. (MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project).
  • Experience of GD&T, Process mapping, statistical methods and process/ product validations would prove beneficial.
  • Excellent attention to detail
