The Department of Biomedical Sciences within the Mercer University School of Medicine invites applications from highly qualified individuals for a faculty position at the Associate or Full Professor level in cancer immunotherapeutics, including vaccine or oncolytic vector research, vaccine immunology, or cancer cell/stem cell immunology. Qualified applicants will have a record of proven accomplishments in immunotherapeutics including a strong record of publication in high impact journals. Applicants are expected to develop an internationally recognized extramurally-funded translational research program.
A Ph.D. or M.D., M.D./PhD or DVM degree from an accredited institution is required for this position. Candidates with active funding and extended track record of at least 5 years of extramural funding (R01 series) are encouraged to apply. A highly competitive start-up package including faculty salary and research support will be provided. The potential for an endowed position is available. Laboratory and office space will be located in the 101,000-square-foot Mercer University School of Medicine Hoskins Building.
