The Department of Biological Sciences at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for Fall 2019 to teach BIOL 316 - Cancer Biology. The class meets Monday 9:30 am to 12:20 pm. Biol 316 is a 3 unit general education course taken by non-science majors.
- Teaching experience at the college level for at least one semester.
- Demonstrated requisite knowledge of cancer biology.
- Research experience in cancer biology.
- Experience teaching general education classes to non-science majors.
- Experience teaching cancer biology courses.
- Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated commitment to diversity and/or intercultural competence with diverse groups in relation to teaching.
Timeline: A review of applications will begin on July 18, 2019; however, the position will remain open until filled.
