Job Summary:

The BI Architect is responsible for providing technical skill and leadership in the use of the AWS tech stack for reporting and BI solutions.. Perform analysis, design, architecture definition, development/coding, testing, system application support, and documentation.  This position will play a lead role in the adoption of AWS for our reporting, BI, and application purposes.  This position must possess skills in the AWS tech stacks, as it relates to RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB, Kinesis, S3, ETL/ELT, and other AWS BI/Application services.


Job Responsibilities:

       Assist the Data Warehouse Architect with the design, build and maintenance of data warehouse solutions to support Business Intelligence (BI) and Reporting projects using the AWS tech stack (RDS (SQL), Redshift, etc.)

       Provides knowledge and leadership with BI strategies on AWS.

       Designs and builds solutions for the migration of on-premise solutions to AWS.

       Supports and leads all new development on AWS tech stack.


Required Qualifications:

      2 years of experience with design and building of Data Warehouse solutions on AWS (RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB, RDS, Kinesis, S3)

      3 years of experience in development within a Business Intelligence / enterprise data warehouse environment

      4 years of working experience with Relational Databases (preferably Microsoft SQL Server)

      4 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server developing complex schemas, Stored procedures, Functions and queries.

      Experience developing migration strategy for on-premise technology to AWS services.

      Experience working with Power BI and DAX expressions is a plus.
